Sustainability: Growing with Care
An Erasmus+ Training Course on designing practical, youth-centered strategies for a greener future.
Status: High Impact
What is it about?

Sustainability: Growing with Care is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed for youth workers to explore innovative methodologies and practices in youth work. We emphasize youth participation in sustainable development, shared decision-making, and personal development to foster a lasting, sustainable growth mindset.

Through non-formal education and game-based learning, participants engage in creating practical, implementable strategies. We utilize youth-centered design to ensure that sustainability projects are not just theoretical but ready to be launched by NGOs in their local communities.

THE NOISY BITS

Yes! Your accommodation, food, and activities are fully covered by the Erasmus+ program.

Not at all. You just need an interest in sustainable growth and a desire to bring new strategies back to your NGO or community in Romania.

You buy your tickets first, and after the project ends, you’ll be reimbursed based on the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator. For most of Romania, you’ll likely fall into the 100-499km bracket (211 EUR) or the 500-1999km bracket (309 EUR).

No receipt = no refund. You must keep all physical and electronic tickets, invoices, and boarding passes to get your money back.

Participants gain new skills, cultural experiences, and lifelong friendships, while also enhancing their personal and professional development.

Yes, you need to arrange your own travel insurance for Bulgaria, as these costs are not covered by the project.

Since you are EU citizens, you should bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). It covers basic medical emergencies in Bulgarian state hospitals just like it would at home.

Nope. It’s all non-formal education, think interactive workshops, game-based learning, and team-building. You’re expected to be fully active and involved.

To join a similar project, look for local organizations or youth centers that coordinate Erasmus+ activities in your country. They often share calls for participants on their websites or social media. And obviously check out our social media and website for more projects.
